{"id":33567,"date":"2016-10-23T12:00:36","date_gmt":"2016-10-23T09:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/koumentakislaw.gr\/en\/?p=33567"},"modified":"2018-12-25T22:08:28","modified_gmt":"2018-12-25T19:08:28","slug":"world-champions-f1-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/koumentakislaw.gr\/en\/news\/world-champions-f1-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"World Champions In F1 In Schools!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\u00a0The <strong>Greek school team Infinite Racing<\/strong>, which consists of students from Mandoulides Schools, <strong>won the F1 world class simulation contest<\/strong>, the Greek flag waved at the highest point, while the National Anthem was heard in distant Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<strong>Koumentakis &amp; Associates Law Firm<\/strong><strong>\u039f\u03a5\u039c\u0395\u039d\u03a4\u0391\u039a\u0397\u03a3<\/strong><strong> &amp; <\/strong><strong>\u03a3\u03a5\u039d\u0395\u03a1\u0393\u0391\u03a4\u0395\u03a3<\/strong>\u00a0we were already proud to support this effort, but victory and World First Lead gave us great joy and <strong>inspires us to continue, because it is shown that with Perseverance, Patience, Imagination, Innovation we can realize our Dreams!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The members of <strong>Infinite Racing<\/strong> team took the lead in \u201cF1 in Schools 2016\u201d world competition in the design, construction and speed race of Formula 1 racing cars, and received the Bernie Ecclestone trophy. The Greek children <strong>dominated among 39 teams from 23 countries<\/strong>, totaling 852,3 points, compared to 837,8 points of the second group from Australia and to 770,5 points from the third from Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The members of the group are the High School students, Kyriakos Theofanidis, Charalambos Kalfas, Vasilia Niavi, Stylianos Mavromatis and Angeliki Samara, with supervisor Professor Ioannis Daountakis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>\u201cF1 in Schools\u201d<\/strong>, students work in groups of three to six people with specific responsibilities and roles each (team leader, model F1 designer, model F1 manufacturer, graphic designer, marketing and communications officer, resource manager, design manager and website development and social networking tools). Each team prepares a detailed action plan and resource management plan. The parts of the project depend on each other and each member of the team must at all times observe and be aware of the progress of the other.<\/p>\n<p>The Greek team was also awarded with the Pressure Challenge Award, the Knockout Competition Winner, the Team Website Award, the Enterprise Portfolio Award, the Finalist Best Engineered Car Award Pressure Challenge, the Knockout Competition and Team Website. At the same time, it received scholarships at City University London and at the Engineering Department of University College London.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The announcement of the team:\u00a0<em>\u201c<strong>OUR DREAM CAME TRUE<\/strong>\u00a0!\u00a0We are delighted to announce you that we are the WORLD CHAMPIONS of 2016 and the first Greek team to reach the podium!!\u00a0We can\u2019t still believe it.\u00a0Most of it we would like to thank everyone, one by one who helped us to be here because without our precious collaborators\u2019 help everything would be impossible.\u00a0Congratulations to all the teams, wherever you have come from, we are all winner!! We all lived our dream and we can all accept that this was a lifetime experience. Every team is unique and awesome.\u00a0We all thank F1 in Schools for the chance we all have been given to. We can all say that f1 in schools have changed our lives, we have all evolved as personalities! We dreamed-we imagined-we created-we innovated-we made our dream come true!
