Professional Experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Shortly after entering the law faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki he began working in the Legal Department of Macedonia-Thrace Bank (1981) as a clerk at first and soon after finishing law school as an in house lawyer (1988) and a member of the Thessaloniki Bar.<\/p>\n

The last decade of his cooperation with Piraeus Bank (that had merged with M-T Bank) his object of employment was the legal support of the Administration of the bank (in the capacity of head of the relevant department) and for the last five years the\u00a0 legal support of the CEO and BoD of the Bank- exclusively. At the same time he seved as a legal advisor for many subsidiaries of the Bank, continuing in this capacity even after his retirement from Piraeus Bank (1999).<\/p>\n

From 1997 to 2003 he was the legal advisor and Secretary of the Stock Exchange Center of Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n

To this day Stavros Koumentakis is the chief legal counselor of many Greek and multinational corporations and he has achieved in gaining the respect of his colleagues as a jurist and a court lawyer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He possesses a vast experience in handling litigation and the legal support of major corporations.<\/p>\n

He also specializes in litigation of the entire spectrum of civil, commercial and corporate law,drafting contracts and coordinating complicated mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Stavros Koumentakis (born in Rethymno, Crete in 1963)\u00a0and he has completed his studies at the Law School of Aristotle University in 1985. Since then, he has attended a wide range of seminars in all areas of interest and specialization.\u00a0He is the founder and managing partner of KOUMENTAKIS & ASSOCIATES\u00a0Law Firm.<\/p>\n
